A collection of patients’ stories. The stories are based on admission records and case notes, where those exist. Family information and details of the children’s lives after their discharge from the Hospital have been compiled from the Decennial Censuses.

• Minnie Ashman: patient from 9 June 1873 to 29 October 1873
• Nellie Wallace: patient from 29 June 1872 to 11 March 1874

• Sarah Coulson: patient from 16 August 1875 to 7 August 1876
• Sydney Jones: patient from 13 June 1873 to 4 September 1873
• Tom Garvey: patient from 23 March 1871 to 14 December 1871
• Willie Catlin: patient from February 1870 to July 1874
• Willie Perry: patient from 18 February 1879 to 29 December 1881
